The Alix Wagon Wheel Museum will be holding a fundraiser September 26 2010. It is "Fall into Fashion" Show featuring clothing from Lou's Fashions. It will begin at 2pm with tickets costing $10 and can be bought in advance at the Alix Home Hardware.

Main Street Upgrade and Upgrades to the sewer system |

Village Council is pleased to announce that a main street upgrade project has been approved for implementation in 2010. The project includes removal and replacement of the existing road surface and sidewalks, replacement of underground infrastructure where necessary, improved drainage including environmentally friendly rain gardens to remove run off, a center median, and a pleasing streetscape design.
The sewer system upgrade involves removing Lake Street Lift Station and the installation of a sewer main on 46 Avenue and upgrades to the Rahr Park Lift Station.
